Situated on the sea front at Aldeburgh, just behind the Moot Hall, the Mill Inn is a Pub much loved by locals and visitors alike. Dating back to the 16th century, it was once the haunt for smugglers who plied their trade the length of the Heritage Coast.

Walk in through the wooden doors and you'll instantly feel part of Aldeburgh's history when you see the leaded light windows and ancient beams.

Landlords Sue and Dennis Peel have created a reputation for great food, great company and great beer. It's a real family business with daughter, Kirstie, and son-in-law, Keith, helping to run the bar and kitchen.

Seen as the annex to the local lifeboat station, it also attracts fishermen, locals and even 653 Squadron who use it as their home from home when visiting Aldeburgh for their annual celebrations.

Dennis and Sue aim to serve their customers with the best possible food produced using the freshest ingredients and the best local produce : fish, vegetables and meat. All ingredients are hand-selected by their chef in order to maintain the Mill's high standards. All seafood specials are dependant on the success of Aldeburgh's local fishermen on the day of your visit. What's in today's catch ?

Take-away Cornish pasties have been added to the menu to cater for drop in customers - a sure sign of Sue and Dennis tailoring their offer to meet demand.

The Grange, founded in the 17th century, is set in delightful countryside midway between the market towns of Diss in Norfolk and Eye in Suffolk.

All 22 en-suite rooms are set in a quadrangle overlooking the hotel's gardens and offer every modern day comfort and convenience.

Room facilities include - newspapers, iron / ironing facilities, fax machine photocopier, colour TV, tea / coffee tray, telephone, modem point, hair dryer, clock / radio.

Dining at Brome Grange is an experience to savour. The restaurant serves the very best of English and international cuisine using only the finest local grown produce, with some products coming from our 'own farm garden'.

The Bell is a delightful 17th century coaching Inn located in a peaceful village setting, overlooking the surrounding countryside. With ample free parking and patio garden.

All bedrooms are centrally heated, fully en-suite and Individually furnished in keeping with the character and atmosphere of the Inn. They are equipped with a colour television, radio alarm clock, hair dryer and hospitality tray.

The Ship Inn, set in this pretty and peaceful "village by the sea", was once the haunt of smugglers and seafarers, the Pub is now a favourite with locals and residents alike and an ideal base for exploring this intriguing area. The seaside towns of Southwold, Aldeburgh and Thorpeness are just a short drive away.

All 7 rooms are en-suite and include colour television and tea / coffee making facilities.

Meals may be served in the cosy main bar or Foc's'le dining room, which is renowned for great food and wines, and caters thoroughly for all tastes.

Beautifully kept 15th century country Inn with oak beams, real log fires and a warm welcome. Outside there is ample parking and a large garden.

The Huntsman and Hounds is a family run Inn specialising in good food and real ale. All food is freshly cooked on the premises and there are weekly specials.

The Inn is situated on the A144 close to the Suffolk Heritage Coast, Southwold, Dunwich and Minsmere, The Norfolk Broads and Norwich are only a short drive away.

The 3 bedrooms are en-suite and include colour TV and tea / coffee making facilities. Pets welcome by arrangement.

Located close to most amenities and just 5 minutes walk from Ipswich football Stadium and 10 minutes walk from the railway station.

Adjacent to the Pub is the 5 bedroomed guest house with the accommodation.

The Brewers Arms, established 1986, facilities include car parking and a beer garden. Bar meals are also available.

First licensed in 1420, The Angel has for centuries stood in the heart of England's finest medieval town.

An ideal location for a short break, with 8 comfortable en-suite bedrooms, a quiet residents' sitting room and a restaurant and bar with great food and atmosphere.
