The Outgate Inn, located on the B5286 about 2 miles west of Windermere, dates back to the 18th century and was originally part of a small-holding, in 1903 it became licensed as the Outgate Mineral Water Manufacturer. Today it is part of the Robinson's and Hartley's Brewery and serves their finest ales.

Many of the original features of the building have been retained keeping the old world feel.

To complete the picture of a true country Inn there are also three double, en-suite, guest bedrooms, one of which can convert to a comfortable twin-bedded room. All the bedrooms have colour TV, hairdryers and tea / coffee making facilities.

The Bull Hotel is a 17th century coaching Inn situated in the centre of the historic market town of Sedbergh. Famous for its location, the hotel is approximately 5 miles from the M6, (Junction 37) whilst being at the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District national parks.

The bull has two bars, a restaurant and fifteen en-suite bedrooms. There is a beer garden, children's play are and large car park to the rear of the hotel. Bar meals are served daily. Restaurant dining is available from Friday - Sunday and includes chef's specials, freshly prepared using a wide range of local produce.
