A two-hundred-year old traditional inn, The Shoulder Of Mutton stands on the edge of the tiny, picturesque village of Kirby Hill and enjoys magnificent panoramic views of Holmedale and beyond making it an ideal base from which to explore the magnificent North Yorkshire Dales National Park, the North York Moors National Park, the North Pennine Valleys and the East Yorkshire coastline. Open log fires burn in the bar areas, where guests may enjoy drinks (including hand-pulled cask ales such as Cumberland and Black Sheep, a large selection of malt whiskies and a comprehensive wine list) and bar meals in a relaxing atmosphere. The dining room has exposed stone walls and original beams, which provide the perfect backdrop for enjoying our renowned, traditional home cooking. |
