The Royal Oak, situated just off the high street, is the only Pub in Burford in the 2006 Good Beer Guide, and is a warm and friendly traditional Pub popular with both visitors and local residents alike.

Over the last 18 years Gary Duffy, your host, has collected over 1,000 mugs and jugs which are hanging from the beams of this 17th century Inn.

The welcoming rooms have a private entrance from the garden, and have cottage type cosiness about them, they are at the rear of the Pub and therefore fairly quiet. A full English breakfast is included.

There is a reduced rate offered if the stay is for more than one night.

Situated in the ancient village of Eynsham, close to the Thames, and midway between Oxford and Witney, just off the A40.

Originally constructed in the mid-14th century, the White Hart was converted into a coach house in 1836, with the addition of a stable block, to which sympathetic conversion has resulted in three attractive en-suite letting rooms, all with wireless broadband, off the courtyard.

Roaring fires, to go with the real ales and bar meals, on those cold winter nights, and a beautiful beer garden for balmy summer days, complement the many original features of this historic Inn.

The Falkland Arms at Great Tew is a beautiful 16th century building and is still run as a traditional, local Pub. The flagstone floors, oak beams and inglenook fireplace are cosy in winter and our award winning gardens are enjoyed on sunny days throughout the year. We are famed for our selection of beers, whiskies and country wines and we offer superb food and accommodation.

Come and join regular and occasional guests in The Falkland Arms, as they relax over a quiet drink or a bite to eat. For a livelier visit, come along for one of our regular music nights - or join the crowds at our annual beer festival.
