The Exeter Inn is a charming 15th century Inn with old stone walls, open log fire and oak beams. It is situated in the beautiful Exe Valley near Exmoor. With easy access to the motorway, the Exeter Inn makes a perfect choice for a short break at any time of the year.

Food is served in the bars all day from 11am - 9.30pm every day.

Exeter Inn's BJ's Restaurant is open every evening from 7pm and from 12 - 2.30 pm on Sundays for our famous Sunday Roast Lunches. We offer a wide range of dishes including daily specials and childrens' meals. We specialise in traditional dishes, making the most of the wonderful produce available locally.

Vegan and Vegetarian Menus : We are developing a range of Vegetarian and Vegan meals to cater for those of our guests who have expressed a wish to see more of the options we have available.

Cream Teas are served every afternoon and are particularly popular in the summer when customers like to sit outside by our flourishing grape vine which grows right along the front of the building producing delicious grapes for our own wine.

Our twelve comfortable rooms are en-suite, with tea and coffee making facilities, colour TV and telephone. Full English breakfast is included in the tariff.

We are a small family run , recently refurbished, Pub and restaurant with 4 letting bedrooms. 1 double en-suite, 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single. All the rooms include colour TV and tea / coffee making facilities, there is own key access at all times.

The Pub is situated on the main Buckfastleigh through road - Fore Street, opposite the "Valiant Soldier" and the Tourist Information Centre.

Provided is a fine range of home cooked fare, professionally prepared and courteously served. There is also a charming terrace garden where one can relax and dine al fresco.

The Bars provide a wide selection of ales, including real ale, and wines. There is also a fine display of Malt Whiskies.

The George Inn is a pleasant, traditional village local with a warm welcome, popular with locals and visitors alike. Blackawton is a quaint village with a little shop and church, and is a previous winner of the "Britain in Bloom" competition.

The, partly timbered, bar, and the end lounge, have a big bay window with wonderful views over the fields towards the sea. In the bar and lounge you can enjoy a great selection of real ales and an amazing range of bottled Belgian Beers.

The accommodation comprises of twin, double and family en-suite, comfortable and well-appointed bedrooms.

There is a fine selection of food available at lunchtimes and during the evening. Everything from home-made Pizza to Chicken Balti and dishes cooked on a skillet. Ask about the great desserts as well.

The Three Crowns Hotel is an impressive 13th century hostelry of great character. Centrally located in the picturesque town of Chagford, just 5 miles south of the A30 and about 20 miles from Exeter, within Dartmoor National Park.

After recent extensive improvements all rooms have en-suite bath and / or shower, tea and coffee facilities, colour television and central heating. The main feature of many of the rooms is the fine four-poster bed which is in keeping with the character of this one time manor house.

The well stocked bar is a focal point of this old Inn with a wide selection of wines spirits and traditional ales. Diners can choose from the excellent a la carte menu in the dining room or alternatively there is a good table d'hote menu and a variety of bar snacks.

The Royal Oak is a popular place to stay when visiting Dunsford. The central location, 5 miles from Exeter on the B3212, within the village and the excellent food and real ale help to make your stay an enjoyable experience.

However, demand is high so getting in touch by phone is more likely to be successful. Recommended by the Dartmoor Tourist Board.

The Royal Oak is known locally to have good food and an excellent atmosphere, the menu changes quite frequently.
