The South West Peninsula has a long coastline and is generally
warmer than the rest of Britain. There are the three moor land
areas of Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and Exmoor, these areas can be
very inhospitable in the winter but always very beautiful. To
the east of the area lies Salisbury Plain with Stonehenge and
the predominately farming counties of Dorset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.
