Outside there is a large attractive secluded walled garden, surrounded by well established borders and lawns that are split by a pathway running up the centre. Tables are situated around the garden where drinks and bar snacks can be enjoyed during the summer months - weather permitting ! |
| The Bull Hotel is a 600 year old former coaching inn with tremendous atmosphere and is reputed to be haunted ! A former landlady, who many years ago, had a child as the result of an affair, was thrown out onto the streets by her husband. It is alleged that her cries can be heard when she returns weeping and wailing for forgiveness from her spouse. This account appears in many books and publications regarding haunted inns of England. | |
