The general décor affords a wealth of beams, cosy corners, amusing pictures and odd levels. We have two lounge bars, one of which has a large working inglenook fireplace, providing a huge crackling log fire during the winter months, and in addition to the bars there are also two non smoking dining areas. After our recent refurbishment we are able to accommodate even more with an extension to the bar, eating and function facilities ! | The Bull Hotel is a 600 year old former coaching inn with tremendous atmosphere and is reputed to be haunted ! A former landlady, who many years ago, had a child as the result of an affair, was thrown out onto the streets by her husband. It is alleged that her cries can be heard when she returns weeping and wailing for forgiveness from her spouse.
