Relax in our warm, comfortable, superbly decorated and tastefully furnished lounge.

We have 12 bedrooms, 10 of which have private facilities. All rooms have been carefully decorated and furnished to a high standard with excellent fabrics and colours, which provides us with individual rooms throughout the Hotel.

All of the bedrooms have been designed by Mrs Sandra Skeggs.

Welcome to the Crown Inn in the village of Linton in Cambridgeshire. We are a family owned and run business and strive hard to offer good food, ales and fine wines in a relaxing atmosphere.

We have 5 en-suite bedrooms available, each with colour TV, tea / coffee making facilities and desks or dressing tables for laptop users. They are simple, clean and decorated with plenty of fluffy white towels and crisp bed linen.

With polished dark wood furniture and stripped plank flooring, our Brasserie style restaurant is a great venue for many occasions. The menu is an eclectic blend of freshly cooked dishes prepared by our team of experienced professional chefs, in addition we offer an excellent value lunchtime menu. We even have a fax priority service for lunch orders !

The pub is conveniently located close to Cambridge, Granta Park and the M11 - an ideal choice for that overnight stay, and is within easy reach of the M11 and A11 motorways. Linton lies just off the A1307 between Cambridge and Haverhill. The Crown is located at the top of High Street with plenty of parking behind the pub and on the street outside.

My wife and I bought the De Montfort Arms in the summer of 2003; we have since remodelled the bar by creating an open, comfortable, relaxing area.

We have also refurbished the restaurant and, by taking on a top class chef, now offer a comprehensive menu, using fresh local produce, to satisfy most people.

In the summer of 2006 we are opening a garden seating area where families can relax in pleasant surroundings in the open air.

It has been challenging doing this, but we have found it very rewarding. Challenging because it was a big step for us to take, and rewarding to see it develop from a small, quiet village pub into a successful family run business.

We now have an excellent team that enables us to offer a high level of service of which we are very proud.

Since 2003 the Bahadur family have extended the accommodation to include three premier bedrooms in addition to three standard bedrooms, all the rooms have en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities and television.
