Once owned by Pat Phoenix, Coronation Street's Elsie Tanner, The Navigation became an Inn over two hundred years ago, and still retains its original character and atmosphere. Accommodation is available - there are five double rooms, including a large family room, all are en-suite. The bar is very much the centre of the establishment, local villagers and visitors alike enjoy the warm atmosphere, fine ales and friendly banter. Children are welcome in all areas with the exception of the main bar - there is a children's playground for the kids to enjoy, whilst you enjoy a decent pint. Food is served in the bar, restaurant or outside on the large patio. There is an extensive and varied menu to choose from as well as the daily 'specials' board |
