The Ferry Boat is a 500 year old riverside freehouse pub offering renowned beers (principal beers are Abbots Ale, Morland and GreenKing IPA), food (fresh local produce) and hospitality.

This away-from-it-all friendly locals Pub is located by the Essex Wildlife Trust's 600 acre sanctuary in North Fambridge.

The purpose built accommodation is all on the ground floor, set in a courtyard behind the Inn and is rated Three Diamonds by the English Tourism Council.

The Hanover Inn is a local fisherman's tavern offering an informal and friendly atmosphere sited in the heart of historic Old Harwich, and is an ideal stopover for ferry and cruise passengers using Harwich International Port. The Inn provides comfortable accommodation, a selection of real ales and a rather special breakfast experience.

Guests can explore the narrow streets and follow the Heritage Trail or take a conducted tour of the town to enjoy the carefully preserved and restored buildings that date back to the 15th century. Old Harwich offers a selection of restaurants serving freshly landed fish, crab and lobster dishes.

Small conferences (up to 25 candidates), workshops and meeting facilities can also be provided in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

Ye Olde White Harte has eleven en-suite rooms with TV and tea / coffee making facilities, hair dryer, clock radio and eight rooms with shared bath / shower / WC.

There is a separate Residents Lounge with a television. The Waterside Restaurant seats 50 people, and offers lunchtime and evening table d'hote meals with full a-la-carte menus.

The hotel was built in the 1600's, and many of the original beams and fireplaces are now exposed, both in the bedrooms and in the public areas.

The hotel overlooks the River Crouch and has its own jetty on the quay. While guests can enjoy the hotel's olde worlde atmosphere, they can also feel free to explore the pleasant riverside walks, and experience the peaceful surrounding countryside and small villages of Essex !
