Kilverts nestles in the centre of Hay-on-Wye,
the "Book Capital" of Britain, surrounded by glorious
countryside. At Kilverts we endeavour to provide a complete service in all areas having eleven en-suite bedrooms available; all have tea / coffee making facilities, TV, trouser press, hair dryer. Laundry facilities and room service (at a nominal extra charge) are available to make your stay as pleasant and relaxed as possible. |

Our deluxe double rooms, at the top of the building, offer spacious accommodation with half tester beds, one of which shows a modest view over the rolling countryside, the other over the town. The family suite can sleep two adults, two children and baby in a cot if necessary with dividing curtain to allow a little privacy for parents (we hope). |
| Our timber framed, olde worlde style, bar is popular with guests and locals alike for anything from morning coffee, to a candlelit dinner for those special occasions. | |
|
The garden restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere. Great for all seasons, cosy and candlelit in the winter months but offers a view of our popular lawns in the summer. Some diners choose to finish their meal with a coffee on the terrace. During the summer months, clients can take full advantage of the "Kilverts Garden", which is one of the best kept secrets of Hay, ½ acre of lawns and flower beds that burst into bloom from Easter onwards. |

The menus in both bar and restaurant reflect a robust cooking style, with world wide influences. Fresh fish and Lamb dishes being a speciality. Our Specials Board changes daily. On the front of the hotel we have tables on the terrace and pavement for those who just like to watch the world go by with a cappuccino, fine ale or a glass of our large selection of wines. |
