This olde worlde country Inn and restaurant is nestled in a bank overlooking Croxden Abbey. There are no busy roads, so you can relax in the vast beer garden and enjoy one of the most magnificent views in England, and yet you are just 5 minutes away from the top tourist attraction in the UK - Alton Towers.

All our cabins are wood on the outside and in keeping with the surroundings. They are all 2 - 3 bedrooms sleeping 2 - 8 people and are offered on a self-catering, or bed and breakfast basis. Pets are allowed by arrangement.

All 7 cabins are en-suite, have colour TV, tea / coffee facilities, hairdryer, clock / radio

The Lord Nelson is a quaint village Pub with a friendly bar, comfortable lounge bar, renowned restaurant and well-appointed accommodation. There is also live entertainment on Saturday nights.

All rooms are en-suite and include colour TV, tea making facilities and own key access.

We are only one mile from Alton Towers, five miles from Dovedale and the Peak District National park, nine miles from Stoke-on-Trent and the Potteries Museum, and close to the delightful market towns of Cheadle, Leek, Uttoxeter and Ashbourne.

If you like walking Oakamoor is on The Staffordshire Way, and there are many other scenic walks in the area.
