Nestling in the beautiful Og Valley, in the heart of the Wiltshire Downs, and close to Marlborough and the Ridgeway path (Europe's oldest Highway) the "Inn with the Well" has been a country Inn for over 300 years.

The Inn has excellent facilities offering superb comfort in a newly constructed building adjacent to the Inn. Accommodation comprises of 2 double, 3 twin and 1 family (4 people) room. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, TV, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. All bathrooms have a bath and a shower.

Prices per room range from £40.00 - £50.00 per night and include a full English breakfast. The Inn has a cosy restaurant with seating for 25 customers. It has an extensive a la carte menu supervised by its resident Chef .

The Inn is a free House providing a wide range of beers and spirits. A full Bar Meals menu is available.

The Lamb began trading as a public house probably as early as the 12th century. By 1870 it was already well established as a posting Inn that supplied 300 post horses for coaches going to and from London and the West Country.

To this day the building retains plenty of its original character and features including inglenook fireplaces, flag stone floors and heavy wooden beams. The Lamb Inn sits in the middle of the charming Wiltshire village of Hindon and is only 20 minutes away from Salisbury.

In addition to a broad real ale selection, the Lamb offers a malt whisky menu reputed to be the largest in Wiltshire, and for cigar lovers there is a choice of Havana cigars.

The sitting room has several areas in which to relax, making it an ideal place for a quiet conversation or a drink with friends and family.

The Red Lion is set in the beautiful National Trust village of Lacock. In Lacock you will be charmed by the history and architecture of this medieval village. The Red Lion with its large open fireplace and Georgian interior, welcomes visitors to experience an atmosphere steeped in over 200 years of history. All rooms are decorated to echo their Georgian past, yet still offering modern facilities.

Close to Bristol and Bath, nearby attractions include Lacock Abbey, Saxon church of St Cynac, 15th Century Tithe Barn, village stores and craft fairs.
